How to calibrate an iPhone screen
Calibrate motion detector
Your iPhone's motion sensors can be affected by proximity to a magnet or environmental factors. In this case, the iPhone will prompt you to use the iPhone compass app to recalibrate all motion sensors, including the gyroscope, magnetometer, and accelerometer.
- On the iPhone screen, tap the Compass app.
- Follow the onscreen instructions to tilt the iPhone screen and roll the red ball around the circle.
- Keep tilting the iPhone until a compass appears on the screen. If this is the case, the motion sensors will be calibrated.
Brightness Adjustment
Adjust your iPhone's screen brightness in the Settings app.
Step 1
- On the iPhone, tap the Settings icon.
- Tap Display & Brightness.
- At the top of the Display & Brightness screen, move the slider from left to right until you reach your preferred brightness level.
When you turn on auto-brightness on the Display & Brightness screen, the brightness level you choose is the setting your iPhone uses to determine how to adjust the screen brightness for you when you move from a bright environment to a dark one switch . When you turn off auto-brightness, your chosen brightness level stays constant regardless of the environment.
sensitivity adjustment
Apple doesn't offer a way to adjust iPhone touchscreen sensitivity. If you find the iPhone screen is slow or unresponsive, try the following methods to fix the problem:
- Clean the screen. Like any glass surface, it easily collects grease that can affect the screen's sensitivity.
- Restart the iPhone and reset it if necessary.
- Take your iPhone to an Apple Store for assistance.
